I have installed the plugin and updated all the settings. It is also activated in Plugins however, it is not working. :( I’ve logged out, used another browser, etc. and it is still not working. Any suggestions? Much thanks in advance.

I hope you have enabled it from the Plugin settings as well. Please send me the URL so I can check and get back to you with more inputs.

Yes, it has been activated. When you say “Plugin Settings” I am assuming you mean where all the Plugins are listed in the admin panel, correct? If so, it is activated there. You can click on my photo for the URL but I will list it for you as well: http://www.pgnew.com.

Thanks so much and have a great day.

Jeannie, This plugin needs to be enabled under Settings >> Custom Coming Soon. I hope this will help.

Great plugin, thanks! I have always been looking for a flexible custom coming soon page like this one!

Just one suggestion: please include in your themes as by now, the site is not tracked via Google Analytics, clicky…
I had to manually insert the tracking code into /themes/default/index.php

It would also be great if you could choose a custom background without timer.

Sure Robert, I’ll try to include these options in up-coming releases. Thank you for your suggestions.

I hope you have enabled it from the plug-in settings page. Also this plugin will show the Coming Soon page to users who are not logged in so you can test it opening in another browser or simply logging out from the WordPress Dashboard. Let me know if you still face any issues, here at http://support.cssjockey.com.

I tried to use your plugin on a new site, but it did not give me custom background, the time I set and the email submission stayed on the screen forever (had to cancel). Could this be caused by a conflict with the ‘maintenance mode’ plugin. Of course I had deactivated maintenance plugin before I activated yours. Any ideas???

Please de-activate any cache plugins if you are using. Try to restore settings to default and save them again, This solution was provided by one of the users. I hope it works with you as well. Do let me know the status.

I will be releasing an update soon and will take care of the known issues so far.

this is great!

I’ve spent the best part of an hour playing around with this to get it to work but it’s just not responding no matter what I do.

The two main issues I have with the plugin are that it won’t display my own logo (no matter which URL / service I host it with) and the countdown timer always shows 54 days, 10 hours, 6 minutes & 20 seconds.

I’ve altered themes, played with the plugin code. It just doesn’t want to work. It’s a fantastic idea but for now I’d try to find another solution or build your own landing page (which still makes it possible to work in Wordpress behind that page).

I agree. Doesn’t work and the support forums are of little help

FOR ANYONE OUT THERE HAVING ISSUES WITH THIS PLUGIN:

Try changing your site’s ‘Appearance->theme’ to the default one (WordPress Default 1.6 by Michael Heilemann). However, be aware that once you do so, the options you have saved under the ‘Settings->CJ Coming Soon’ WILL BE LOST and you WILL HAVE TO RE-ENTER ALL YOUR OPTIONS AGAIN! So make sure you remember/write them down somewhere before you change the theme. Afterward, everything should work properly.

Hope this helps and THANK YOU CJ for your wonderful plugin!
