If you have removed the plug-in files from your server via FTP, it will automatically be deactivated and the code doesn’t change anything.. so it should work.

Hey,

Thanks for this plug-in! It is good to have, I have also passed it on to many others :)

13 Aug, 2010

It works excellently for us!! Great Plug-in! The only thing I “wish” it had was an area to put business address/phone#/email address – but that isn’t a complaint, it’s just a comment :) .

Thanks a lot for your custom underconstruction…

oh and PS. it seems to work fine in PHP 5.3 and WordPress 3.0.1

There’s a bug when you use this plugin on a server which is case sensitive and you’re using the custom_xHTML setting.

the code has the folder as themes/custom_xhtml , but in the plugin it uses the include themes/custom_xHTML . This is causing problems under linux.

To resolve the problem simply rename the custom_xHTML folder to be custom_xhtml .

Thanks for this wonderful plugin. Keep it up.

I would suggest you look for an alternative countdown script since the current script returns wrong time. If you set the script according to a particular timezone and the website is opened in a different timezone then hours left as viewed from original and the second timezone country would show different whereas for each country in the world, it should show same.

I just installed this for my site that is in-progress (on WordPress 3.01) and it WORKS LIKE A CHARM!! Thank you so much! I’ve been looking for something that I could easily put in place until I’m ready for the world to see. This is a GREAT Plugin!

04 Aug, 2010

The plugin did not work on my site. I filled out the forms and all… but not working. Anything that I am missing? Or maybe because I am using 3.01 wordpress? Cheers!

05 Aug, 2010

I haven’t checked the plug-in on latest version due to my tight schedule, however I’ll test it this weekend and upgrade if required.

03 Aug, 2010

i’m very interesting with this plugins…!

05 Aug, 2010

Yes it works well on WP 2.9, haven’t checked on the latest version due to tight schedule however I have plans to test it this weekend.

01 Aug, 2010

Not working for me.is this compatible with WP 3.0?
in the info of the plugin says “till 2.9.2″ last update before half year.
can you please update the plugin?
thanks

05 Aug, 2010

Sure, I am trying my best to spare time from my tight schedule and I’ll be working on it this weekend.

05 Aug, 2010

oh thanks.Can’t wait :)

31 Jul, 2010

The email function does not work. When I test it, the email I receive says the following:

“A user has subscribed to Launch Announcement email list. Please save this email address.
Email: Please wait..”

There is no email address shown in the “From” field and as you can see, in the body of the email it simply says “please wait”.

So I can not see the email address of anyone that signs up. Please help!

Hi CSSJockey,
Sorry to bother you again. Yes, I have checked it out – the setting>cjcoming soon. And customised almost everything to suit my need. But I now want to customise the Theme: WordPress theme| Sponsored by: Dedicated Servers links and words. Any suggestions?
Raj

Hi,
Simply superb. Great plugin. I have activated it in my site. And the look is really great. But why I cannot use it in my localhost setting without connecting to the Net? Also how can I customise the Theme: …. and Sponsored by: ….. options?

25 Jul, 2010

Thanks Raj, I am glad you like the plugin. You can update the settings from Plugin settings and change almost everything there.. Check under Settigns > CJ Coming Soon

21 Aug, 2010

Hi there,

I am pretty sure that the FOOTER links are not configurable from the back-end.

What I found is that it maybe hardcoded in the index.php file and the related codes are ENCODED.

I would like to use this wonderful plug-in except telling ppl about that we are using wordpress. If you can tell how we can remove/customize the footer text, it will really be very great.

Thanks.

23 Aug, 2010

You can remove the footer link from the files saved in theme folders.. Open index.php file of the theme you are using and feel free to edit anything you like.. Be careful with the code ;)

23 Aug, 2010

Hi CJ,

I think I know what has been going on.

I’ve downloaded your plug-in somewhere else (don’t remember exactly where) and the footer part of the version I’ve downloaded has been encrypted to contain some unwanted links.

I’ve downloaded the official version from your website, and everything is fine now. Thanks for your great plug-in.

Just wanna warn anyone else when downloading script from non-official site, remember to check with the official site for the official version, as the non-official source may have changed or modified codes which may end-up harm your site.

Cheers,
Andy.

23 Aug, 2010

Thanks Andy, I’ll update a notice for the same so my readers should not get hacked versions of our products..

15 Jul, 2010

Not working. Tried everything suggested above. It’s just not working. Waist of time and effort. :(

12 Jul, 2010

Is this plugin WordPress 3 compatible. I activated it and configured the settings, but it will not display.

12 Jul, 2010

Nevermind, problem with my DNS. Disregard.

02 Jul, 2010

Hi, apologies if this sounds dud, but is the plug-in able to support multi-languages?

05 Jul, 2010

You can type the text in plugin settings however, the back-end is only available in English..

Hello,

I’m using wordpress 2.7.2, and I installed the plugin through the plugin browser, but when I clicked “active plugin”, the browser couldn’t display the website: http://www.lucesmoda.com/ . The url bounces back and forward with the settings of the plugin and the default index. Hope you can help soon!
