This add-on enables a lot of options to manage and modify RSS Feeds for your WordPress website. Here’s a list of what you can do with this add-on.
You must download and install our free CSSJockey Add-ons plugin to use this add-on.
- Disable RSS Feeds:
You can choose to disable all RSS feeds for your WordPress website.
- Custom message on feed disabled page:
When rss feeds are disabled, WordPress shows a message which you can easily modify via WYSIWYG editor. This can be very useful if you wish to force users to subscribe to your email list instead of subscribing to the RSS feeds.
- Exclude categories from WordPress RSS feeds:
You can choose categories to block feeds, any posts within specified categories will not be included in the RSS feeds.
- Include custom post types in WordPress RSS Feed:
If you are using custom post types, You can choose to include specific custom post types within the RSS feeds.
- Delay WordPress RSS Feeds:
You can delay the RSS feed publishing for few minutes to avoid any mistakes being published as soon as you hit the Publish button.
- Post Thumbnails in WordPress RSS feed:
You can choose to include post featured image in the RSS feed.
- Adding content before and after WordPress RSS Feeds:
You can insert any code or plain text to be inserted above and below the post. This can be useful to include advertisements or custom call to action buttons for your subscribers.
