Hi, I want to have a preview notification signup to my AWeber list.
I don’t want to use Feedburner email.
I cannot get any HTML to ‘stick’ even when I click on the show source button.
Would it be possible to create an HTML entry option which stick to allow HTML code?
Thank you
If you know HTML, CSS and a little PHP you can make changes to this plugin to suit your needs.
Bought the premium plug-in and it does not work. Having the same redirect loop problem as above. I did as you specified in your readme.txt. Also when you unzip the file there is no such folder called cj-coming-soon. There is however a cj-coming-soon.php file. I am using Safari and new mackbookPro. I am anxious to get this working as I paid for it. Please help or point me to where there’s more information on the installation of this plug-in.
Thank you,
James

Hey not sure why, but I have tried twice now and this plug in has broken my site :S
Have you tried the latest release, I just upgraded this plugin a few days back and its available to download from WordPress.org
I left a comment earlier but it looks like its not here any more. I installed the free version 1.09 of this plugin from within WordPress, then hit activate, and got a redirect error. I then tried to click out of the plugin area and into Dashboard, and got a redirect error. Then I cleared all my cookies, etc, then tried to log back in to the site, but now i can’t even get to my wp-admin page because of the redirect loop. Any suggestions?
Hello Devin, Please use the latest release available on WordPress.org, I’ve recently fixed this issue.
Will not work with the new version of wordpress. It just locks my site up once installed.
I installed the Custom Coming Soon pages and now I can not get into my wordpress ….. says he’s redirect errors. Does anyone know why this is taking? Thanks,
Hi,
I would like to use your plugin on my multi-site network. Placing it into the “mu-plugins” folder makes it automatically activated for each user’s blog.
Is there a way to enable by default the coming soon page when the plugin is activated ?
So that when a user creates his blog, a coming soon page would be displayed instead of his empty blog.
Sure, I’ll look into this and try to add this feature in future releases.
I’ve called my webhost & they verified that the e-mail is not being received by the mailserver..
You can use the latest version, all these bugs are fixed and feedburner is integrated instead of manual emails.
free plugin its not working in my blog, my blog is blank if i activate this plugin
Try the latest built.
After activating the plugin I get the error:
Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.
Any idea why?
Free version at: http://www.insidestartups.co.uk/
Thanks

The webpage at http://dutchdesign.x10.mx/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=coming-soon-settings has led to too many redirects. This problem may solve your cookies for this site or third-party cookies allow. If not, then it is possible a server configuration issue and not a problem with your computer.
Here are some suggestions:
Reload this web page later.
More information about this issue.
Error 310 (net:: ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS): There are too many redirects.
The moment I delete the plugin from the server every thing works again.
Have WordPress 3.1.3.
Any ideas what it is or is it just compatibility issue with latest WordPress?
I’ll check it for the latest version and will update with any fixes required.
Your plugin locked me out of my site… How do I get back into my admin area? I am completely locked out no matter what I do. Can you please help. This is the message I keep getting when I try to go to the site itself or to the admin area:
Safari can’t open the page.
Too many redirects occurred trying to open “http://pacificreader.com/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fpacificreader.com%2Fwp-admin%2Foptions-general.php%3Fpage%3Dcoming-soon-settings&reauth=1”. This might occur if you open a page that is redirected to open another page which then is redirected to open the original page.
Please help, I need this fixed ASAP. Thank you.

Thanks.
Thank you so much for the plugin, link backs are going to be provided.
I and my guys have been taking note of the best tactics located on your web blog and all of the sudden I had a horrible suspicion I had not thanked the web site owner for those strategies. All the men were so warmed to learn them and have in effect truly been enjoying those things. Many thanks for simply being so helpful and then for settling on these kinds of notable useful guides millions of individuals are really needing to understand about. My honest apologies for not expressing gratitude to you earlier.
I have installed your coming soon plugin and activated it but it does seem to work. I have logged out and looked and I have even looked from a different computer. Any suggestions.
Thanks
Todd
Did you get any error? I hope you have it enabled in the plugin settings.
It generate a redirect loop when I try to activate the plugin. I have made some modifications, redirect loop stopped but the plugin does not affect in front end.
Any idea?
Are you using the free or premium version? Please share the URL where you are using the same so I can check.
I just tried it on WP 3.1.2 and WP 3.1.1 websites, and it doesn’t seem to work (the free version). Can you verify that it doesn’t work on these latest versions?
Thanks!
i did everything there is to do but it still shows the DEFAULT page not the coming soon page! what am I doing wrong!
I hope you’ve updated the plugin options and logged out to check the site. This plugin shows the site as it is to logged-in admins.
Hi,
I’m currently running 3.1.1, activated the plugin, updated the settings for a custom background color, facebook, twitter, email, seo etc, enabled the plugin in the settings, saved and then logged out. Cleared my cache several times and had someone who’s never seen the site check it.
The coming-soon plugin isn’t showing – I’m wondering if it has anything to do with the fact that I’m currently using the thesis theme?
Thoughts, solutions?
THANKS!
Please check the plug-in settings to verify its enabled. Do let me know if you get any error.
Hi,
I just want Custom Coming soon page to link an individual url just like : http://mnsoftwares.com/allfiles/antivirus
Please help me to do this.
Restricting an individual page isn’t possible right now.
Hello,
I just setup! The interface was really easy to use!
http://www.hillbillyclothes.com
I also installed a google anylitics plugin, My question is will this google anylitics plugin work on this coming soon page?
Thanks in advance!
Thanks for the feedback. Nope any other plugin won’t work if user is not loggedin to the site. however, there is an option to add script codes from the plugin settings. check it out.
Hey,
I love the design of this plugin, but I continue to have a big problem: when I click the ‘login’ link, I end up on a blank page, not the login page. Can you help me to understand how to log back into my site without deleting the plugin?
Thanks,
Matt
You can simply type http://www.yoursite.com/wp-admin in the address bar, it should take you to the login screen. If there’s any issue with the same, give me the URL where you are using this plugin and I’ll take a look..
Hi, my programmer got my “coming soon” page working but i did something “deleting the page and the post”
can you please teach me how to re-publish the coming soon page
i have the CJ coming soon page done in the setting, it’s just a matter of publishing it .. my website is http://www.malaysiawills.com
TQTQ
Please let me know if you are using the free or premium version of our plugin?
What size do you recommend I make my custom background image?
Thanks
Normally, you should create a small size background which can repeat itself, however, if it cannot be done as a pattern you would need to analyze the design for the same and create the graphic which can work with all screen resolutions max size can be set as 1920px by 1050px.
Hi CSSJockey,
Great plugin! I just can’t see it activated on a clients site. I did log out from the WP Admin panel and refresh my browser as well as clearing the cache. I am using WP 3.1 I don’t know if that has anything to do with it. Let me know thanks!
Here is the link:

Hi, it works on WordPress 3.1 as our demo is running on the same version.
I’m also having an issue with the email notification.
In Firefox on a Mac, the email address never sends after you enter an email adress and click Notify Me. Instead, you just see “Please Wait…” in the submission box and nothing else happens.
In Internet Explorer, everything appears to have worked properly from the visitors perspective. After you enter an email address and click Notify Me, it takes you to a page that reads “Thank you for subscribing to our launch announcement email list!” However, the subscription notification email sent to the website administrator doesn’t include an email address for the subcriber. Instead, you just see the text “A user has subscribed to Launch Announcement email list. Please save this email address.
Email: Please wait..”
Help!
e-mail: Sometimes it works… Sometimes it doesn’t.
I have the plugin installed, and when I tested it, it showed up perfectly fine. But… When my client tested it, it never forwarded the e-mail to my account. We’ve tried this over 5 times, and I only received 1 e-mail. I’ve called my webhost & they verified that the e-mail is not being received by the mailserver, so it’s a matter of the e-mail not getting sent from the plugin.
HELP!
Hi, just plugged in the plugin to a fresh wordpress 3.0.5 install – looks really great! but… the ‘notify me’ email submission gets stuck showing “please wait” and the little loading animation beneath. Same in chrome, firefox and safari.
Any ideas how to fix or what I’ve done wrong? site is http://www.extrememakeover-taranaki.co.nz Thanks!
