What a bummer. Came back after a couple weeks to find that the new release is not yet out.

If someone can tell me how to modify the code to only allow contributors or higher to submit, please let me know.

I’m replying to myself, but it relates to my comment. If anyone can tell me how to simply make the entry only work for users above a certain level, I could use the plugin right away. Should be some simple hack right?

Here’s the tip: The only way to avoid the spammers. You must activate askimet plugin or let the visitors to register so they can earn this wonderful plugin.

With excitement last night I activated your plugin. This morning I had 80 spams, so I had to deactivate it. There is no other choice.

Suggestions:

1. Of course integrate a tough anti-spam measure

2. Allow only registered users to add links. This could be an easy fix for me.

In addition, regarding #2, it would be every handy to have in the plugin options the ability to add some text that would show up just under the widget title. I’d like to be able say, “only registered users can add links.”

There are other ways but you get the idea.

I had to deactivate today, the amount of spam it lets in is crazy.

I have changed the question and answer several times but as the answer is in a .js file its easy for a bot to harvest.

I would suggest you code in recaptcha and askimet as its unusable as it stands.

@Anh: Custom function is not available with this plugin yet, will try to add this feature in up-coming release.
