Thanks to the user inputs and the feedback that’s kept pouring in since we’ve launched the Custom Coming Soon Pages WordPress Plugin 3 days ago – we are working hard to address any issues that our users have been facing. We’ve just released an updated version of the Custom Coming Soon Pages Plugin with the following key changes:
1. As many basic users were not able to figure out how to access the dashboard after activating the plugin and then log out – we added the option to enable or disable a LOGIN Link in the footer of the Coming Soon Page.
For all our basic users out there, I’d like to share a quick-tip :
You can access your WordPress website’s dashboard by visiting:
http://www.your-website.com/wp-admin
This might help you just in case you feel lost, some time.
2. We have made significant changes to the CSS, so now you can display only a Coming Soon message without specifying a heading without breaking the layout of the page (the email subscription form and the footer, more specifically). Also, the style information has been so tailored that it does not conflict with other themes and plugins that you might be using..
3. We have also fixed the issues being created by the date setup and the Count Down Timer – it should work perfectly now.
You can Download Custom Coming Soon Pages Plugin latest version from the WordPress.org Plugin Repository.
We’re absolutely delighted at how well you’ve received this plugin and are constantly supporting us with your inputs so that we can make it even better and serve you better. So please keep your valuable feedback coming! In case you still run into any issues, feel free to post in the Support Forums! We’ll be glad to assist you..
I just want to say thank you for providing us a great plugin. Very useful and the default layout is simple and neat too. Great job!
This is brilliant!! I’m wondering how to intergrate the email sign up automatically with MailChimp?
why dont we add some banners on top or bottom of the this theme because that would allow owner to make money while page is under construction. can be google ads or some 125-125 banners. would be very impressive and popular
is there something special that i need to do to get the plugin to work? not working for me …
Hey, thanks for the update, everything aligned now and looks nice, but i cant customise anything, i have no cache software on my wordpress as of yet. Even the text doesnt show up as the reason, And the image still remains broken. A live link is available on my name. Ive tryed the default too and the same happens, infact what you are viewing is the default, even when i do make changes it seems to stay the same.
I have just installed 1.04 via Wordpress’ automatic installer and I am having issues with the countdown timer. It constantly says:
54 Days, 21 Hours, 11 Minutes, 23 Seconds
no matter what I set the Launch Date to (it should be the 20th of November 2009)
Thank you for your great support.
The countdown timer still remains even after upgrade to v1.04. However, I think it’s the WP-Super-Cache’s problem. They may have some conflicts.
Thanks for the update and Count Down Timer fixes. However, the Coming Soon page still doesn’t show up sometimes even when I’m logged out. And it’s not showing the default template, but plain text instead.

The email subscription tool on the page fails to send any emails to the email address entered in the ” email settings ” options. We get a thanks you confirmation but no email. Any particular setting or function that needs to be enabled to make this work?
